Happy New Year!

Thank you for visiting this blog this past year.  Your kind words are much appreciated.  A week ago yesterday was the one year anniversary for this blog.

The image above was taken a few weeks ago from the hospital room where our new granddaughter was born.  The house on the slope is facing the sun as a new day dawns.  As we face the coming new year I wish you the peace and joy that our good and loving Lord brings.

Life can sometimes feel like this...

 

This image is from the "Happiest Place on Earth", Disneyland. Happiness is dependent on external circumstances while joy is not. It's interesting that some people can have joy while going through the worst circumstances. Everyone has reason for joy. My prayer is that you have joy and peace in your life.
